Cragun’s is more than another resort on the shores of Minnesota’s Gull Lake. It’s a living legend built on generations of larger-than-life memories and experiences.
As a change in ownership brought fresh ideas to the resort, I helped shape a new brand story and identity. Cragun’s next chapter became defined by the characters who made the property what is is, and the legends lived out by guests every day.

A site visit. Employee interviews. Hundreds of visitor testimonials from Trip Advisor, Reddit and Facebook. “A Legend On the Lake” came together like any Northwoods’ folk story worth its flannel: through the telling and re-telling of shared experiences.
